Michelle Samlaska

Michelle’s tenure in the legal and credit collections arena spans more than three decades. Starting out in 1992 as a paralegal, she immersed herself in legal intricacies before advancing to more key roles. Her early experience developed at GMAC, where she managed collections and repossessions, then at AIG Group as a Branch Manager, making credit decisions for loans, such as mortgages, auto, debt buying, and personal lending.

Later, Michelle transitioned beyond lending into collections as she began working closely with litigation law firms. Her managerial role at a creditors’ rights law firm saw her skill set expand to drafting specialized pleadings, managing the collections department, and overseeing document production, foreclosures, bankruptcy responses and pleadings. Joining Kurt Sund’s Q-Soft, LLC. in 2008, later to become part of Vertican, Michelle ascended the ranks, leading teams and driving client success.

In 2016, she was promoted to Team Lead and later Client Success Service Group Leader for Q-Law and Q-LawE. Currently Michelle serves as Client Success Manager where her mentorship, deep industry knowledge and proficiency in the legal collections landscape provides indispensable guidance and growth to the Vertican team and its valued clients.

On a personal note, Michelle is a motorcycle enthusiast. She enjoys many hours riding her Harley Davidson Heritage Softail. She can also be quite creative. When she is not out riding her motorcycle, you may find her making a wreath, bracelet or some other new craft.
